NICEC welcomes Dr Rosie Alexander RCDP FHEA, Researcher and Lecturer in Career Guidance and Development, University of the West of Scotland

Rosie will lead a presentation on her recent research conducted for the Education Development Trust looking at best practice in the use of LMI in Career Services. Involving a literature review covering sources from the last ten years, this research looked at the multi-faceted nature of LMI and explored the evidence around how LMI can most effectively be used with clients.

The session will explore findings from the literature in three key areas:

What is LMI?
Why is it important in career provision?
How can it be most effectively used?

As well as presenting the findings from the literature the session will include time for participants to discuss and share ideas around these themes. The outline timings are as follows:-
